how to get student loans out of a cosigners name?

I have co-signed my son’s education, I still have fantastic credit, but debit is considered mine. He will be graduating in 2012. How do we consolidate all of these loans into one or two and into his name. What if he enlists to the Airforce? what happens then? I need guidance…..don’t know where to turn

I know the economy is gonna affect stocks, mortages, and gas prices and stuff. But what about for college students. (loans, tuition, etc….)
